15 anniversary of Cinia Mexico A party to celebrate it
20 years ago the spanish businessman Mr. Antonino Fernández, convinced of the importance of work for people with different capacities, started the SOLTRA project in Spain and 5 years later the same model was replicated in the Mexican city of Puebla, under the name of CINIA , as his wife’s name was. Currently his nephew Carlos Fernandez continues his legacy.
Now we celebrate the 15th anniversary of this company in Mexico and the 350 employees of its current staff enjoyed a very special day.
At 3:00 pm, they were pick up from their work centers to the headquarters of Cinia, where they began the celebrations with a Eucharist in which Camino´s Virgin is always present. It is no accident that both SOLTRA in León and CINIA in Mexico are located next to a temple of that name. In the case of Puebla, it was built thanks to the efforts of the Leonesa Association of Puebla and the generous sponsorship of Mr. Antonino and Ms. Cinia.
After the religious act the staff completed it enjoyed a “taquiza” (tasting of traditional Mexican tacos) accompanied by the melodies performed by a group of mariachis. As dessert a spectacular cake with the lyrics of CINIA as protagonists.
A special moment in which each and every one of the components of CINIA enjoyed the joy of celebrating 15 years of this initiative for inclusion. Mr. Antonino opened possibilities and provided opportunities because he believed they could and time has proved him right.
Congratulations to all of us who are part of it.
Inclusion is the cornerstone for a more equitable and respectful world in the face of differences.
From July 22nd to August 5th the Eroski City supermarket in Puente Villarente will become a collection point for food donations destined for the Food Bank of León
World Environment Day reminds us of the importance of preserving our environment. Stopping the loss of biodiversity is possible with adequate management in the development of industrial and service activities. At SOLTRA we are committed to it.
