CINIA receives award as strategic provider of Laerdal Medical Corporation

CINIA, SOLTRA’s Mexico subsidiary, has been recognized for the second consecutive year, with the “Strategic Supplier for the America’s Corporation” by the Norwegian company Laerdal Medical Corporation.

Laerdal was founded in 1940 as a toy manufacturer and publisher of children’s books. Their Tomte car models and Anne dolls became very popular throughout Europe. Technical advances in soft plastic production led them to manufacture the first mannequin used for cardiac resuscitation training. This caused a turning point in the company that has since specialized in such products under the slogan “Help save lives”. Laerdal products and programs are currently used by voluntary organizations, schools, hospitals and armed forces around the world.

At CINIA Mexico we make products such as clothes for the Baby Anna model that we export directly to the USA, China and Norway markets and the rest of the world through Laerdal. Other items such as the Laerdal bag and tank top are also made. With this recognition the Norwegian company recognizes the performance of the actions carried out by CINIA daily with monitoring based on quality, accuracy in delivery, service and responsiveness…

On February 23rd, it was 16 years since CINIA’s journey in Mexico, a socio-labor inclusion business project that has evolved into a community where today almost 400 employees with different capacities do their jobs. After a complicated 2020 marked by the pandemic we are pleased to be able to communicate that we have managed to maintain the employment of all staff. Recognitions like Laerdal’s help us continue to work to become in the words of Mr. Antonino “an example company in the world”.
