Last Tuesday, representatives from the Ringkobing/Skjern Municipality took part in the open house event organized by SOLTRA APS in Denmark. The purpose of this meeting was to highlight the crucial importance of the close collaboration between SOLTRA and the local administration to achieve the successful implementation of our joint training plan.

During the visit, the Municipal representatives were provided with a comprehensive overview of the entire training process carried out at SOLTRA. Furthermore, details about the various activities that constitute our daily work were shared. Special emphasis was placed on the social dimension of our project, which aims at the inclusion of people with disabilities. Since its arrival in Denmark in 2019, SOLTRA APS has experienced impressive growth, transitioning from a modest team of 8 individuals to an exceptional team of over 40 workers.

Located in the picturesque town of Tim on the west coast of Denmark, the SOLTRA facility undertakes the assembly of components intended for the wind energy sector. I Its role as a subcontractor for Vestas has solidified its position as a fundamental pillar in the wind energy production chain in the region. This facility faithfully mirrors the successful model that SOLTRA has refined over more than 20 years in León, Spain, characterized by the active inclusion of people with different abilities, achieving social transformation and creating opportunities.

The open house event served not only to share knowledge and perspectives but also to strengthen the collaboration between SOLTRA and the Municipality. Together, we will continue to work with passion and dedication to drive development, training, and inclusion in our community, demonstrating that when synergy between the private sector and local institutions comes together, great achievements can be accomplished for the common welfare.
