Richard Oribe, an example of overcoming. Paralympic swimmer
Richard Oribe (born 1974) is a Spanish elite swimder who has participated in all the Paralympic games between Barcelona 1992 and London 2012.
Richard has cerebral palsy, but that doesn’t stop him from training between two and six hours a day, which has made him a swimming legend.
Based on effort and enthusiasm, he has achieved the best record in the history of the Paralympic Games from a swimlor of its characteristics.
The Donostiarra has opened a path in adapted swimming and thanks to its dedication and achievements, today there are many swimmers who dream of emulating their idol.
Retired from elite competition, he continues to train day by day and participates in various tournaments.
