Ringkøbing – Skjern employment committee visits SOLTRA Denmark
On the 23rd of February SOLTRA Denmark was visited by the employment committee of Ringkøbing – Skjern. This committee is responsible for both the employment efforts of the municipality and the integration of people living in the municipality.
This meeting was organised by the project manager in the Employment Department, Seda Dodurga and José Ramón Martínez, Director of the Wind Energy Division of SOLTRA.
The day started with a welcome to SOLTRA’s facilities in Tim by Karsten Mikkelsen, SOLTRA’s production manager, followed by a visit where committee members Irene Lund Pedersen, Carsten Bjern, Lise Juhl Hanzen and Irvin Christensen got to know first-hand all the activities we carry out in Denmark. During the meeting, José Ramón Martínez informed those present about SOLTRA’s objective of generating employment for the most vulnerable groups in order to promote their inclusion in society. In Spain, there are various lines of action to achieve this: industrial assembly, logistics, laundry, cleaning, gardening, marketing, textiles and establishment management.
