Ringkobing – Skjern “Place for everyone in the labour market”
SOLTRA participates in the working group created in Ringk-bing-Skjern in order to create 250 jobs for the most vulnerable group of citizens.
Last April, a meeting took place between representatives of SOLTRA and the employment committee formed by the private business sector, the business council of Ringk-bing-Skjern Komune and professionals in the area of disability, psychiatry and employment of the municipality. The aim is to create 250 workers under special conditions for two years and that a minimum of five new socio-economic companies are established per year over a four-year period.
The chair of the working group noted the importance of companies themselves generating income seeking self-sufficiency without relying on public funds. The meeting developed a proposal as the basis for the strategy for the creation of more socio-economic companies that promote these social purposes. To this end, an advisor will be hired who will report on the procedure for the creation of a socio-economic company and assist in the development of new sustainable ideas that can launch new productions and thus achieve a greater number of these jobs.
Flex Jobs or flexible jobs are part of Danish employment policy to get the most vulnerable citizens into the labour market and thus avoid their dependence on social assistance, working a few hours a week.
