SOLTRA present at the Congress of Special Employment Centers
On October 17, the XVII National Congress of Special Employment Centers was held in León, under the incomparable framework of the Royal Collegiate Church of San Isidoro, under the slogan “Present and future of Protected Employment”. Our company, SOLTRA, was present along with two hundred professionals in the sector.
The National Confederation of Special Employment Centers, CONACEE, with the collaboration of ACCECyL presented a program in which the challenges and opportunities facing this professional field were discussed in depth.
Speakers of maximum academic level and professional career, analyzed the latest legislative developments and initiatives that affect the Special Employment Centers in matters of business succession, equal treatment and opportunities between women and men, new opportunities related to digitalization, entrepreneurship social, employment and disability, labor news and collective labor agreement. All to achieve greater social and labor integration in people with functional diversity.
Special guests included Mrs. Magdalena Valerio, minister of labor. who praised the importance of the 2,111 spaces of these characteristics that “favor the labor integration of people with different abilities.” From this recognition, he pointed out that she knows “the many difficulties they are going through” and announced that, to alleviate “the impact of the increase in the minimum interprofessional salary”, a “5% increase in the subsidy that contributes to the payment of fees will be applied. ” She also confirmed that her ministry will promote a legislative reform to resolve the differentiation of equalization of total permanent disabilities with disability.
Congress was a success in both content and attendance. It was a pride for the city of León to have been chosen for the celebration of this event and that should serve to give more visibility to this group and so that neighbors and entities of this city continue to work for the integration of the groups with greater difficulty, work in which SOLTRA has been involved for almost twenty years.
