Two years from a different supermarket. Enhancing capabilities by inclusion.

17 May. 2021 | SOLTRA

Two years have passed since the opening of our establishment as a result of the collaboration with Vegalsa – Eroski. A project based on the generation of new employment opportunities for people with different capacities.

The supermarket has 9 people in staff, who strive every day to offer a personalized treatment, highlighting their kindness and good customer service.

Located in the Lioness town of Puente Villarente, this property is the first of its features in the community of Castilla y León. In this format we promote the visibility in society of the diversity of skills and abilities, enhancing it through direct contact with the public. Inclusion is an approach that responds positively to people’s diversity, understanding diversity as an opportunity for the enrichment of society.

As part of the Eroski City chain, its business concept is based on proximity, commitment to local products and the promotion of healthy eating, all at very competitive prices.

Project consolidation is also based on data, responding very positively to the business plan established for these years and prominently during the pandemic.

We are already working together with Vegalsa – Eroski on new projects and locations within the province to open more establishments with this same model.

On the occasion of the celebration of the second anniversary, all people who make a purchase at the Eroski City supermarket in Puente Villarente (León), will participate in the draw of two shopping carts. Draws will be held on May 15 and 22, 2021.
